I currently have a storage rig with 1x 160gb (Win7 OS) and 5 2tb drives. I'm expanding the 2tb with 2 more additional drives and I'm out of SATA ports. I am thinking of upgrading the board, ram and cpu as it is using and old Athlon x2 with 6 sata ports and 2gb ddr2. My question is will the following parts be enough?:

Board: FM2+ Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper A88X (8x sata 3)

CPU: FM2+ AMD Kaveri A4-7300 3.80-4.0GHz 2-Core (no OC)

RAM: Team Elite 4gb DDR 1600

Combined price for all 3 is USD 180 converted from PHP.

I use the storage rig more for dumping stuff, watching movie files and storing documents and pictures. Mind you, the rig is not turned on 24/7 and I only turn it on when I want to use it. I access the files via remote desktop for file transferring to an external hdd I plug on the rig or for sorting out stuff. I normally access files via shared network if I'll be watching or just transferring files over.

The reason I chose the board above is it has 8 sata ports with expansion slots available for add-on cards and it's on the budget side. What I need from the board is 8+ sata ports, USB 3.0 connectivity and a few expansion ports for future add on cards so I'm also looking for suggestions even if it means moving out of the budget range (but not too much).

The motherboard is good, has good I/O and has everything oyu need. For keeping a low price it is hard to get a better motherboard so I'd suggest if you ever do need to get more then get a PCIe to Sata 3 card.
There aren't any AMD motherboards which have more than 8 SATA ports to my knowledge so you'd have to go Intel on this, but it'd cost a lot more than your budget. So i'd go with the PCIe card if necessary that you need more.
