As the title says I wonder if I need to reset my HDD or anything since im gonna use it with a new OS, CPU and Motherboard.

Hey there, Olle118.

Depends on what you mean by "reset my HDD". @theyeti87 has a good point there. If you don't have a retail copy of Windows and yours is OEM (it came pre-installed to your computer), you'd have to buy the OS (operating system, which is Windows in your case) as it won't work with the new hardware.
On the other hand if you mean formatting the drive, then yes, I'd recommend that you backup any important data which you might have on that drive and after that make a fresh installation of Windows once you have built your new system.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions whatsoever.

Well im gonna buy a new copy of windows and wondered if I can just install it without really doing anything to the Hard Drive?

Yup, just as @Grimwinder said - you can, but it's always better to start fresh. Especially when you have new hardware installed. Ideally, if you have at least 2 separate partition (e.g. C: for Windows and programs and D: for personal files and games), you could just format the C: partition during the installation process. After that you'd have to install all of your programs from scratch. Note that some games create save game files in Windows' User Folder, which will be lost if you decide to format the C: partition.
Basically it would be best if you could backup anything you can't afford to lose, just in case. :)
