Hi, Recently i decideded to change my case, i had my rig mounted on a Thermaltake Versa II case wich was a small mid tower case, in that moment everything was working fine. This is my stuff at the time:
- Case thermaltake Versa II
- Thermaltake TR2-600, 600 watt PSU
- ASUS M5A97 R2.0 BIOS Version 2603
- FX 8320 BE CPU
- CoolerMaster Hyper 212 heatsink with push-pull 120 mm fans
- PATRIOT Viper III Black Mamba 2x4 2133mhz ddr3 memory
- EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SSC 1gb graphic card (soon to be changed for R9 390x)
- SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250 SSD.
Now I mounted this rig on a thermaltake Armor A60 case with a couple of changes
Now I have this:
- CASE THERMALTAKE ARMOS A60
- CORSAIR TX750, 750 WATT PSU, 80 BRONZE
- ASUS M5A97 R2.0 BIOS Version 2603
- FX 8320 BE CPU
- NOCTUA NH-D14 HEATSINK WITH 120MM PUSH FAN AND 140 MM PULL FAN
- PATRIOT Viper III Black Mamba 2x4 2133mhz ddr3 memory
- EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SSC 1gb graphic card (soon to be changed for R9 390x)
- SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250 SSD.
As you can see only the psu and heatsink was changed for biggerones, and since that tha PC won't turn on, I double checked the connection and no luck, the FLBK Led on the board flashes once per second, I tried to clear the CMOS with the jumper and the PC turn on with that jumper on the clear position (2-3 pin), when I put it back on normal position (1-2 pin) same problem noting happens when power button is pushed.
Can anybnody give me some advise??

Solution
Because you just changed the case/cooler, I think it could be the a short issue, check the motherboard standoffs or try it outside the case. And also double check the connectors again, like the front panel connectors, reset the cooler if you don't try yet.

Problem solved, It happens tha the M5A97 r2.0 motherboard is a ATX form factor mobo but with slightly smaller size, it is 12 x 9 inch, so the free dorder of the mobo does not fit with the standoff and was making contact with the chassis, I managed to alling it in a way that border does not touch the chassis, now it turns on with no problem, but i'm thinking about putting some isolating material under the board, hope it help others.
