I am planning on building a pc with above 2 components.
I will add a gtx 970 next month.Untill then i will have to run the integrated graphics on the processor.
I looked at the pics of the mobo. It has a hdmi a vga and a display port adapter but i have read at multiple websites that this mobo doesn't support the integrated graphics.
Can anyone please clarify this.
Thanks

You have been misinformed. It will support the iGPU. It lacks a motherboard IGPU for CPUs without one like the Xeon I use.

I would not choose that motherboard with that CPU.

I assume that you want to overclock, and that motherboard has flimsy power phases and VRMs.

Where are you buying? If you link to a local sit, we may be able to advise you on a better choice.

Thank you for your reply
I researched the overclocking topic and most people say that they have overclocked the i5 4690k to 4.3 to 4.5 ghz without a problem on this mobo.
which mobo will you suggest as i also have a budget.
what are your views on the gigabyte z97d3h mobo

If you are after a modest overclock, that's fine, although I would still not use it. It has only three power phases but doubled. The question is not how high you can overclock it, as much as it is for how long will it last?

There are no sub US$80 boards that I would use for overclocking an i5 4690K unless I had no choice.

The biggest variable in overclocking is your CPU. A half of all CPUs are below average. A decent $100 motherboard will get 200 to 300Mhz more than a light $70 motherboards, and a great $200 motherboard will get another 100Mhz or so.

If you have a great chip, the motherboard does not matter much. I got to 4.8Ghz on a decent $100 board because I had a great chip. On the same board, one of my G3258s goes only to 4.5Ghz, and the other one goes to only 4.2Ghz.

People like to report when things go well. You may not hear about the chips that struggled to get to 4.0Ghz.

If you get an average or below chip. your motherboard will make a difference. If your budget is limited, then you have to do what you can. However, I would question going with a 4690K if you cannot afford a decent supporting cast. You need an OK air cooler and a good PSU too. If you are primarily gaming, and with that GPU, overclocking will be of limited value.
