Hey guys, need some help. My son wants to upgrade the video card on his Alienware X51 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G1S89576&cm_re=ax51r2-5738bk-_-9SIA24G1S89576-_-Product&RandomID=40660751747918920151124112542 and I've already bought the power supply upgrade http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013 so now I'm just looking for the card. I was thinking a GTX 960 but I'm not partial to Radeon either just looking for the most bang for buck. I have about $200-225 budget as this will be his birthday present. He plays mainly Star Wars galaxies and he wants to be able to play Fallout 4 but as of now his computer has everything set to Low. Any help is appreciated!

Where the heck is the GPU? That case looks tiny, and the GPU seems to be on some kind of riser card? I would firstly open the case, take out the old card and measure it and generally visually inspect the area as to how much space there is. Most cards are dual slot nowadays and most 960's use the generic PCP and cooler from it's bigger 970 version.

Edit: found a dissemble video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRjTe_bGQVQ yeah has some strange riser card/holding cage, definitely measure before you buy anything
