I have a preexisting build; however, upgrades are severely needed for gaming. I want to get a graphics card, motherboard, and cpu this black Friday within a 400-500 range with little to no bottlenecking. I will be running this system at 1080p playing titles, such as fallout 4, skyrim, call of duty series, batman. I would like a min. Of around 50-60fps on high or ultra most games. The r9 390 series has dropped below 300 but is more than I would ever need. Mobo and cpu are both areas I have little knowledge on, so whatever y'all think would be best is what I'll go with. I currently have 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram, a10-6800k series apu, I believe the a78-em mobo, and a 600gb had.

Solution
If you overclock: i5-4690K + Z97 PC MATE
If you don't overclock: i5-4460/4590/4690 (whichever is cheaper) + H97 4PRO or GIGABYTE GA-H97M-HD3 or Z97 PC MATE
Your CPU (APU) is actually pretty capable so it is still good.

If you want to get an upgrade for as cheap as possible, all you need to do is to get the GPU: either GTX 970 or R9 390 if you play at 1080p and wanna max out everything you touch. GTX 960 2GB or R9 280(x) are good if you want med-high new demanding games at high FPS.

What is your PSU? It is essential for upgrading the GPU.

My power supply is 750 watt 80 plus bronze. And I would also also like to upgrade motherboard and cpu because I was going to give it to one of my friends for Christmas. He's just getting into computers so me and a couple of my friends wanna hook him up with a system. I'm only giving him the motherboard and cpu(apu).
