Hey guys -

So I just purchased BenQ XL2730z, monitor that supports AMD FreeSync, but I just found out it does not support R9 280x!!! Bummer! Stupid me.

Do you guys think I should sell my used R9 280x and buy FreeSync supported GPU? (R9 290 or R9 285).

Do you guys think it's really worth buying new GPU? I mean I only used my GPU for only a year. I'd say games I will be playing are CODBO3, BF4, GTA.

My full build:
CPU: Intel® i5-4690K 3.50 GHz
MOBO: MSI Z97 PC Mate Socket LGA 1150 ATX Motherboard

Hey thanks for the response. My question now would be... Should I buy AMD product to take advantage of Freesync, or should I just buy Nvidia GPU as I'm hearing they are better gaming GPU?

Let me know your thoughts!
