Motherboard and chipset compatability

I have a PEGATRON CORPORATION NARRA5 motherboard, and want to know if an - Device ACPI\GenuineIntel_-_Intel64_Family_6_Model_23_-_Intel(R)_Core(TM)2_Duo_CPU_____E8400__@_3.00GHz, will work together ?

Going to need more info on the motherboard. But, if this is the one in question, it won't work with Intel processors, only certain AMD processors.

No you want a socket 775 that is compatible with your CPU, I'd look for a P45 chipset based mobo
