Hi guys so i have an ASUS A88XM-A motherboard and i have a Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 gaming 4gb graphics card and i'm wondering what is the best gaming CPU i can buy for the AM2/AM2+ socket with a reasonable price. i've been looking at buying the AMD A10 7850k but i am put off by the fact that there are integrated graphics and i'm not sure if that would make the performance worse since i have a dedicated card already.

That board is an FM2+ motherboard. Assuming that is what you want, then the chip you need is the Athlon X4 860K. This is the CPU part of an A10 7850K with the iGPU disabled, and it is a lot cheaper. You may be able to overclock it a little.

Read up about that CPU. It's a great budget gaming CPU, the best under $100 CPU, with two modules that run as a four core CPU.
