Can't connect to game servers, but can still connect to internet.

Hello there,

So a few weeks ago or so I encountered this problem where I can't connect to any game servers. Whenever I try to connect to a game server, it doesn't let me connect whatsoever. Is there any way to fix this? I'm pretty impatient when it comes to technology.

I forgot to mention that I'm using a mac. I've already tried firewall but that isn't working.
