HDD problem with the amount of storage

I don't know where exactly im suppose to put this on the forum but im pretty stumped. so recently i have been having trouble with my 250 Gb HDD it says i only have 122 Gb available!

the last thing i did befor the problem was i made a second partition on my drive for Linux and i duel booted between Linux and windows. in the end i deleted the Linux partition but i never got the storage back...

it says in disk management that i have 94 gigs free but i cant access it and i also have a 14Gb partition that i have no idea what its for.. sorry if i sound like a noob but i really need help!!

I have a idea that might work. Download ccleaner and run the drive wiper on free space only, do three passes. I think what happened is that when you went deleted the partition is that the partition table didn't update so, Windows still thinks it's allocated space.

Is partition d your old Linux partition? If so you can have ccleaner overwrite all allocated data. That should allow you to get back your space One pass should be enough.

does it let you expand drive c or d in disk management?
might need a 3rd party partition tools to expand the drive

the only drive i can expand is the C drive and the D drive but i dont know what the D drive is for it only had one file in it called
bootsqm.dat

i tryed it but no luck still at 122Gb on my HDD

122 is your c drive, after that is the free space, expand the c drive to add the 94GB free space to c drive

ok so i got the 94 gbs on the hdd but it wont let me save it without a lisence key ?

thanks all for the help the partition tool worked after some trouble shooting i have now over 200gb on my HDD and my computer is acting really snappy
