my 2tb wd elemets wont show up on device manage ment nor on my computer files help

If the drive is working properly with other systems, then the issue might really be connected to the school computer. Even though it seems like everything is OK, I'd recommend that you backup any important data which you might have on that drive, just to be on the safe side. This is a standard procedure whenever there's an issue with a drive. After that go ahead and download DLG (Data Lifeguard Diagnostics) and run both tests (Quick and Extended), to make sure that the drive is in good condition. As for the school computer, you could try updating the USB driver (if you have that kind of access), to see if that fixes things up. You could also try to uninstall the drive from Device Manager and then reconnect it again, so that Windows can install its driver again and hopefully it shows up after that. If the HDD is not recognized in Device Manager as well, you could also check the BIOS of that computer to see if the drive is recognized there. Unfortunately all those things require you to have access, which I'm not sure you have when it comes to a school computer.
You could also try the drive with a different USB cable (although this shouldn't be the issue if it's working fine with other computers) and a different USB port, to see if the same thing happens.
I'd recommend that you try another 2TB external drive with the same computer (perhaps one of your schoolmates has one), to see if the issue reoccurs.
