Amd FX 4300 Upgrade

I would like to know what a good cpu to upgrade from a Amd FX 4300. Also i will be getting a gtx 960 oc and would the gpu be bottle necked by this cpu? Or the new one you will be recommending?

In the right situation (low core count CPU bound games) all amd cpus will bottleneck it. But in most cases no. A 6300 or 8320 would work but make sure your board can handle them
