Hi, I am getting the GTX 980Ti and also buying a TV for my room.
I will hook up the PC to the TV (a 4K LG TV, I will use KODI) and also to the PC monitor, When I want to do gaming with a desk, writing, composing etc. .
Will it work fine? How should I configure it?
1) Will one DVI for the PC and HDMI to the TV work?
2) Will it let me output to both displays at the same time (A duplicated image) without sacrificing GPU power? What about gaming, will I have to turn off one of the duplicate screens so it doesn't worsen the performance?
3) If I want to watch 4K content and only my TV is 4K, won't it make any problems if I am in duplicate mode?
4) I am planning on getting the Oculus Rift when it comes out. Do I need one monitor working? Will it turn off the monitors automatically? won't it make any problem that 2 monitors are connected to the GPU?

Many thanks!

Yes it will work. Just hook both with either cable. You can duplicate or extend it without it affecting performance at all (assuming you game on only one screen). Point being, 2 displays will not hurt gaming performance at all.

For duplicate on different resolutions, I am unsure.

So the display is duplicated, and when I am gaming automatically only the main display is showing the game?
And when I am a bluray movie and both displays are on since it's not a game, will it affect the performance then?
Is there a fast way I could turn off and on a certain display? Like a shortcut?
