Hey could I get some advice if this build looks okay? I'm not overclocking, just want a reliable build.

-AMD FX-8350 (Stock Cooler)
-Msi 970 Gaming Motherboard
-Kingston Hyperx (2x8gb) DDR3-1866
-Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB SSD
-WD 1 TB 7200RPM
-MSI GTX 960 4gb
-EVGA 750W (G2)

Thanks in advance for your help!

That case makes 0 sense with his budget, same with a platnium power suplly, for that budget getting a 100$+ psu is usless and he wont need much power to drive a system with a gtx 960. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/R2vNdC seomthing like this would be good.
The casse has nice airflow and is easy to build in, if for some reason you dont like it, good alternatives are the phanteks enthoo pro m or the nzxt s340
While you dont need an aftermarket cooler getting one like the hyper 212 wouldnt be a bad idea, even if you dont overcloack your cpu will be significatly quieter and cooler which helps with longevity of a cpu.
In terms of power supply if you dont intend to sli your gpu and oc then 500w is more than enough, xfx are very good power supply...

Jollypirate is there a way I can message you , I would like to get some advice and I believe you would be an amazing help to me. Sorry for posting in this thread , I am newer to forums and didnt know the proper way to message you.

Jollypirate makes plenty of good sense, the stock AMD cooler is notoriously noisy and while the Hyper 212 Evo isn't the best cooler out there it's fairly quiet and cools well for its price.
No need for the big 750Watt PSU, again, Jollypirate makes sound suggestions for alternatives.
A case is always going to be a highly personal choice, the Define is a quality piece of kit and will have all the fans your build reasonably needs and its design will keep the noise down nicely, just be aware, it has no 5.25" bays, so you'll either have to use external DVD/Blu-ray drives or look for another enclosure.
Consider going to 16Gb of memory, especially if you're going to be using large or multiple Solidworks/video projects simultaneously.
