I'm running a asus sabertooth, fx 8350 and a 390. I noticed along with the new crimson driver released for the gpu's there is also one for the mobo. Should I install this as well?

if you haven't even had problems, why bother updating the drivers? might break something or lose some other functionality. just because it's new doesn't mean it's better. and if your system has been stable and works with the existing drivers, i personally wouldn't touch them.

Depends on the applications you're using. The new driver has some advancements for some newer games or fixes for slightly older ones. I personally love the new Crimson interface - but I turned off auto-updates (which is an option in the installment process). You may experience lower benchmark scores with some driver releases, but I'll take stability or tweaks in some applications over benchmark scores.
