Just wanted some outside opinions on my build because black friday is this week.(Still missing some parts)
My build is:

Processor: I5-4460
Video Card: R9 380 4gb
Ram: G.skill 8gb ripjaw series
Storage: Seagate 1TB HDD
Case: Cooler Master HAF912
Motherboard: (Haven't Decided)
PSU: (Haven't Decided)
I need a 1080p monitor and not planning to overclock so let me know what cpu cooler I should get. Trying to keep the price as low as I can, but I don't mind spending $ for good quality.
Thanks :D
Also should I buy the parts on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Solution

the CPU will handle it without a problem, but the GTX 960 will not run these games on ultra setting at 60+fps but it should run it fairly close to maxed settings without a problem, I like going for a K version because it means if your cpu it starting to lag behind if you upgrade the GPU in...

if you're not planning on overclocking on the i5-4460 use the stock cooler it will work just fine without any problems, I would say get the GTX 960 over an R9 380 for 1080p gaming as a lot of games run better off the Nvida drivers rather than AMD drivers, PSU I would say get anything from XFX these are a fantastic brand at really good prices also you could look at either the B2 or G2 series from EVGA 550W/650W versions the 650W is usually cheaper I don't know why It just is XD

For a motherboard I would say get ASRock H97 Anniversary, its a fantastic motherboard for that chip and it comes with a very fair price tag, also you could look at getting the i5-4590 over the 4460 as it performs slightly better :)

- The i5-4460 does not overclock so the stock Intel cooler is fine. Good prices are already available at many places so keep an eye open.

If I get the i5-4590, do you think I should get a hyper evo 212 cpu cooler(might do some overclocking)? Also, if I get the ASRock Motherboard, do I have to get a different case? I was planning to get some extra fans but it seem that there is only 1 system fan header and 1 cpu fan header. Also, how much power do I need on my psu?

if you want to overclock then you need to go for an Intel K series chip such as the I5-4690k rather than anything previously listed, and if you are overclocking yes the Evo 212 is a very good budget CPU cooler, the ASRock motherboard is just a standard ATX board so no you will be fine, you can always get more fans that's not a problem just make sure you have at least 1 more intake than exhaust with that case otherwise it will cause negative pressure on an enclosed case which is really bad for heat, and for that system a good 500-550W will do you fine.

if you really want to overclock I would suggested something very similar to Archaic59 build, (yes I petty much used most of your build and tweaked it a bit hope you don't mind) this will give you better performance/price due to the ability to overclock also I honestly stick by GTX over AMD card due to the driver issues that I have experienced from my R9 290x but that's not to say they are bad card if you prefer AMD then the GTX 960 and AMD R9 380 are almost identical when it comes to performance.

Can't find a XFX Psu that's semi modular around 500-550w. But other than that I think I have my build.
Processor: i5-4590
Gpu: Either Gtx 960 or r9 380 4gb
Case: CM HAF 912
Storage: WD Blue 1TB
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8gb
Motherboard: ASRock H97M Anniversary
PSU: I'll find it
Monitor: DELL Black 24” 5ms 1920 x 1080 Widescreen HD LED Backlight LCD Monitor
Anything else? If not, thanks for the amazing help :D

Um just one last thing. I can't really decided if I need to overclock or not. Mainly gonna be playing the latest pc games. Can a i5-4590 handle games like the witcher 3 or fallout 4 at high-ultra settings not overclocked along with a gtx 960 4gb?
