Solution
Asus is better. Asus is a well know high end motherboard builder, where Foxconn is more of a lower end manufacture. If i had to make a choice between the two i would take Asus every time.

Biostar, ECS, Foxconn, and Jetway are more of your lower end boards, where ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte are your higher end boards.

His HDD is sata2 so Sata3 isnt really needed. More usb's might be useful ill give you that. GPU overclocking is not done with the board, if you mean CPU overclocking then best of luck on a foxconn board.

foxconn only supports up to 1333Mhz ram, asus does 1600Mhz with up to 2200Mhz O.C.

The foxconn board does not have more pci-e lans as that is determined by the CPU not the board, the foxconn board does have 1 more pci slot.

To me it comes down to build quality and i would trust an Asus board over Foxconn.

I work as an IT stay away from foxcon,I didn't see what it offers but stay away I have seen 2 dead cpus in these 6 years and all of them were in foxcon mobo, also they tend to have issues, you don't want to mess your other parts because of cheap build quality,if you want a budget friendly mobo as rock tends to manufacture a lot of them,so stay away from foxcon and take the asus one
