Is Liquid Cooling risky? Should I just go w/ a standard fan?

Hello everyone. To preface, my technical knowledge of PCs is fairly limited. I just ordered a PC a few days ago, and one of the parts that it comes with is the "Asetek 550LC 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler". I'm just wondering how safe Liquid Cooling technology even is? I mean, does it pose any risk to spilling and ruining all the components? I'm kinda paranoid about that stuff after reading some horror stories. Is it better to just swap the liquid cooling out for a fan instead? I was looking at the V3 Voltair and that looks pretty good?

It will only leak if you cut a tube, most horror stories are custom loop failures not closed loop systems like yours.. Failure rate is higher on them due to one extra part(pump) but it won't ruin your oc just make u order a new cooler if it goes out

Yes, I understand but I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to this type of stuff, so even if the possibility is slim of a leak, it still worries me and it would give me greater piece of mind with just having a regular CPU Fan.. So can you guys confirm if the fan I've chosen below will be compatible with my build and will it be powerful enough to prevent overheating in my PC? Please look below. Thank you.
