Installing m.2 into an Asus ROG Gl752VW-DH71

I am planning to purchase an Asus ROG GL752VW-DH laptop. Currently I can’t decide which version to purchase, the DH71 or DH74. The major difference that I see is the DH74 has a 128 GB m.2. I would definitely like this in my laptop. However, I noticed that I can get a 500 GB m.2 from Newegg for 150$. This would allow me to install it in the DH71. I am just concerned if it is compatible? And also would this void the warranty if I open up the panel? Is it worth doing this as opposed to just buying the DH74?

Thanks for all the help!

Differences that I have noticed:
DH71:
GeForce GTX 960M 2GB
1TB 7200 rpm HDD
$1,100

DH74:
GeForce GTX 960M 4GB
1TB 7200 rpm HDD + 128GB SSD
Not currently released
$1,300

Products:
Newegg m.2, 500GB:
