i3 or i5 (open to suggestions)

SSD 250GB as main drive and 1TB HDD @7200RPM as secondary
Decent graphic card
Need WIFI

Yup, it's $200 for an I3, $300 for an I5 here. That's a third to half your budget. lol. Crappy but the way it is, hence my 8320 build. It was worse when I built that a few years ago. It was an 8320 or like a dual core pentium or celeron for the same price. lol.

lol, if my budget increased to just below $1,000, would there by any changes to the above? I probably will want to go for the intel CPU.....
