new install on samsung ssd 850 evo 250gb

i went into bios checked ahci was enabled
i installed windows 7 home windows disk not a copy
when i try to install drivers i get a msvcp 100.dll error message
when i did a google search to fix the problem they advise downloading
some software what is your advice
please and thank you

Just a damp soft cloth and rub gently . Sometimes I just rub a disk on my shirt a few times and it gets it to work. I am sure I would get flamed by some on this forum for improper disk care. A smudge of dust ,oils or scratches can sometimes distort the laser enough for a bad read. Sometimes even another disk drive will play a disk the other won't.

i did not realize what you meant by clean disk
i tried reloading windows i thought i would get the option
to try and repair the issue but i did not
it reloaded and still did the same thing

the reason i bought a ssd was for fast use now i am getting a back log
of windows saving the old install

i tried going to my computer right clicking on c drive
and chose format but it would not do that
please help me someone
windows can be madening sometimes
