Ram memory timings

Hello everyone, i had Kingston Hyper x 2x2 Khx1600c9d3k2/4g x , And i buyed today 2x4 Kingston Hyper x 2x4 Hx318c10fk2/8, All rams are DDR3 i know 2x2 are CL9 1600, And new ones are 1866 Cl10 , Can some one tell me timings in bios... Coz i have put them in and made some Timings and my ram 4x2 Works on 800mhz and 2x2 works on 400mhz.. LoL, I can upload photos and screen shots if needed Thanks

run all of the ram on cas 9 1600.
the 1866 will likely be able to handle cas9 fin at 1600
if you have xmp profiles for the timings then great just use that otherwise enter them manually.

1 set you have http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KHX1600C9D3K2_4GX.pdf then the other new http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX318C10FK2_8.pdf the should be se mauallyt as case 9 using cpu-z spd settings but the other thing old one are slower in term of speed on the cycle and refresh rate so you will loose so of the perf of new ram since the will run same as the old one . you could put new one in the first memory channel that should help a bit .

Hi Scout. Well i know mine New ones will downclock to 1600? but in cpuz they are 800 and old ones are 400.... Im noob to memory Overclocking and timings sorry guys :/, And yes they are in First memory channel Blue ones, And in white ones are old Set of memorys.... Just look the picture of mobo and you know what im talking about...

you have way to different speeds of ram in your system, ram 3 looks to be 1333 not 1600
ram 2 is 1866 your unlikely to get em working at 1600

the max speed you gone have is 1333 mhz so i would only use the new ram since the other bottleneck the new from performing as they should .

see the old one have jedec 4 as max at 666mhz nad new one start with jedec 5 specs so if you activate xmp and they work at 1600 keep them this way but they ill be at max settings .

Well i have AMD mobo. So i dont have xmp in bios? do u know how to set manualy, Well i have unplug them, So i will have only 8gb of ram.... This old ones i will try to sell

i also use amd and took the settings from cpu-z the highest one from old ram and the lowest one from new ram and set it manualy in the bios try with the old ram settings first then check speed after try to set with new ram lower settings and see if system boot and check speed .

use the jedec 4 settings on the old memory to all ram .they after you check speed it give then the jedec 5 settings on new ram for all of them in bios and if system boot and work keep the fastest one as settings .
