Does the ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EXTREME support DDR3 Instead of DDR4?

And if it doesn't, then what are the pros of getting DDR4 over DDR3? Thanks in advance, everyone.

Solution
It supports DDR4 memory.
The DDR4 memory support on motherboards these days allows you to run the RAM at over 3000Mhz. However, the memory runs at a higher latency when compared to its DDR3 counterpart so to be honest it won't make a difference. I'd recommend DDR3 for now as it offers good speeds with tighter timings
