2x4gb ddr3 + 1gb ddr3 (small upgrade)

My question is pretty simple, do I lose anything performance wise if I do next:

I have 1x4gb ddr3 1600mhz, 1x4gb ddr3 1333mhz (so they are working @ 1333mhz). Can I buy another 1x4gb ddr3 1600mhz and have 12gb ram working @ 1333mhz and will that get me worse performance in terms of gaming ? Since Its not dual channel anymore ?

I know that its not right and I know what would be perfect upgrade but I cant afford anything else and 8gb ram limit is hitting in my case with triple setup monitor even though I'm gaming at 1080p due to survival and some new games which are using nearly or 8+ gb of ram.

Thanks in advance for short answer. Do I lose performance with adding 3rd ram or no ?

I did tested 1333mhz vs 1866mhz and there was 1fps difference so I'm not worried about that.

Hi well i just Pair up mine 2x4 on 1866 with 2x2 1600.. And i dont know if im crazy but i think with 12gb of ram my pc works worst then with 8gb... I did tests in 3D mark here is the link with 8gb http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/10580602 and with 12 i had worst score but not by much it was 6543... So i dont know what to say ... I dont think it's wise.... Ram works like this... Gpu send Informations to Cpu and ram...

Thanks Petar, I will wait for someone else aswel to confirm what to do. I know and I'm aware that its not wise, but also its not wise to keep different ram voltages aswel forced at 1.5v in my case + different freq but there, I'm doing that for 3+ years because I dont have choice :) So if in theory everything works fine for gaming I wouldnt mind to have something which shouldnt be 100% right.

Never mind dual channel, you will not see much or any improvement. In most cases even that much of speed difference is invisible. Better to have enough memory than faster one. Difference between RAM at 1333 and 1600 MHz will be offset by lover Cl that faster one would run at lover speeds. What's make and model of that 1333 RAM, some could be made to run at 1600 just by boosting up RAM voltage.
As long as they play together well, don't worry.
