I am writing because I am having some trouble with my External Hard Drive, I have had it for about 1 year and it has been working fine. i mostly use it to save the downloaded movies from my laptop, I have tried basically everything that was advised on this website in regards to checking if it has viruses or if it is not working properly but it is still not working.
The hard drive is read perfectly on the pc and I can see al the files but when I open the videos with VLC they open but do not start playing. I did manage to fix it but then moving the laptop it accidentally logged off and then when I plugged back in it would not play the videos once again.
I specify that the files are visible and they open but just wouldnt play and it takes forever to charge.
Please can someone help me I would really appreciate it.
