Long story short, I spilled some liquids onto my PC. The problem at first seemed to be my PSU which at the time was a RM750. So I replaced it with the RM850, when i tried booting it up i had a black screen but everything else turned on. No motherboard or any type of screen appeared everything else seemed to be running fans, liquid cooler, gpu however my mouse and keyboard wouldn't but my microphone did have a lit light on which mean it was being powered. After that i decided to replace a cable on my psu and it had a short circuit which I'm guessing fried my psu once again because a burning smell appeared but it smelled brand new similar to the psu(hopefully you understand what i mean xD) So now my psu my a clicking sound everytime i try to start it but i wont stay turned on anymore. I want to know if i should replace my motherboard and cpu or should i try changing my PSU only? And maybe recommend a build with GTX 780Ti?? Any help would be appreciated thanks.
My build:
CPU: i5 4690k
GPU: PNY GTX 780Ti
Motherboard:MSI z87-g45
RAM: 8gb Corsair Vengeance
PSU: Corsair RM850w

I think then it is just the motherboard and CPU, I'd suggest replacing those two. When you had a short circuit, and you waited an hour what turned on. Did everything start spinning including GPU? If so, then replace CPU. If not then replace CPU and the motherboard.

Hey so, I would suggest changing the whole triple. It seems that they are causing a chain reaction, but since the PSU was powering the board, but nothing was on I'd think that to be the CPU. I would suggest trying with an old (or buying a brand new one) PSU seeing if the motherboard has any light turning on, if so then change the PSU (if not done so) and the CPU. However if nothing then you'll have to change the whole triple, hoping to the lord that the 780Ti isn't fried. But most likely it is the CPU and PSU unless the last short circuit caused the motherboard to fry out.

I had bought a new PSU after the accident, like i said i with the new psu everything turned on except there was no boot up screen or anything. My gpu, fans, and everything were running but no boot up screen. After that i replaced a cable and it had a short circuit. I tried starting it again after an hour or so and it would turn on for about 1 min or so and turn off completely once again. It seems everything is working except my psu, motherboard and cpu. Do you really think thats the case? Or should i try replacing my PSU only once again??
