Hi folks,

Below is the Processor, Mobo and RAM combo. This is a budget PC and I am gonna use it for daily needs, some medium games, Adobe Photoshop, HD Movies. I already have a 500W PSU.

> AMD A10-7850K X4 Quad Core Black Edition
> Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-H Micro-ATX Motherboard
> Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB Desktop Memory Module - 1866MHz DDR3

Do I need to install a separate cooler for this?
Please let me know your opinions and suggestions on rig.

Thanks

That Asus motherboard looks very good!

I didn't see that when I was looking. It has very good reviews from other people, and Asus is a very highly-reputable brand. Both of those motherboards are equally as good, so you should buy the cheapest one.

Hello,

A separate cooler for your APU is optional really. The APUs run quite hot, but I'm sure AMD have tested their stock cooler's to ensure that they are good enough for the job, so it's up to you, if you want to buy a cooler for more 'peace of mind'.

My only suggestion would be to get 2 sticks of 4GB RAM ( that's the "Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB Desktop Memory Module - 1866MHz DDR3" ) instead of 1 stick of 8GB.

Using two sticks allows them to run in dual channel, which will give you a performance increase. And it will only cost you a tiny amount more...

Thanks Mxhawthy for your time and response.
I couldn't get the mentioned gigabyte motherboard unfortunately. Can you please suggest some good motherboards for AMD A10 7850K below Rs.4500
I'm tight in budget.

You're very welcome :)

I'd had a look, and while I don't know how much it will cost you for shipping, I would recommend either this:

https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaf2a88xmd3h

Or this

https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-fm2a78mpro3

I live in the UK, but I checked the price of the Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-H Micro-ATX Motherboard in America (because they have a much bigger trading industry and are cheaper than the UK) and your original motherboard costs $46.99 USD. So those two motherboards that I chose above ^^ are around the same price. I hope you can buy one of those easily :)
