Hi, This is the first time I am building a PC (laptop until now,) I would like some advice on the build and a recommendation for a monitor. I am not really looking for a 'gaming' PC. I am a college student who plays a few games during my free time and I watch a lot of movies/tv shows. I am looking for a 24" IPS monitor since I feel TN would just be a waste and might not be as good for watching movies and stuff. My budget is around $200 for the monitor. My entire budget is around a $1200 US. Here's the build:

- I5-4460
- Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
- G.Skill Ripjaws X (2 x 4 GB)
- EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SSC
- Asus MX239H

Solution
Recommend to change the MB to H97 ($60), PSU ($40), and other monitor ( $100), and you will save some $$.
