Just got into PC building and learned about it this summer, want to know if these components will work together?

To some of you more advanced users, it might seem weird or something, but I'm new to this and would love any help possible. I'm also on a bit of a low budget for now, so I was taking that into consideration as well. If you see any category that could be replaced with a better fitted choice, please tell me.

The components that i have chosen so far are:

HDD: Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 LGA 1150 Z97

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150

Graphics Card: Asus GeForce 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5

Power Supply: Corsair CX600 CP-9020048-US 600W

Solution
- With i5-4460 you don't need Z97 board. H97 may save you some money.
- Corsair CX power supply is not good quality for a gaming system.
- Which video card? The model number isn't listed. I'm guessing GTX 960?

I was planning on first building a starter pc build, and later add a better cpu and possibly some more components. I do see your point though, and will add the h97 to the list. Thank you!
