Hello,
I am building a new gaming computer rig, and I want to know what people think of it.
Just a coupl of things, I chose this motherboard deliberately because i know you can't overclock it, and I am perfectly fine with that, also, the RAM, I don't need any more than 8GB.
There are the little odd bobs on there, including the extra 3TB HHD, just ignore those,I just need advice on the computer build, not the peripherals, thanks.

Solution
Substitute:
6600K, plan on a modest 4.2 overclock
Any Z170 motherboard
DDR4 ram, 2 x 4gb, 2133 speed. No need for expensive heat spreaders.
The rest is good.
Gaming performance is determined by the cpu or the gpu.
In your case, the GTX980ti is as good as it gets.

On the cpu side,
With Skylake now available, there is absolutely no question in my mind that a new build should be Skylake.
a. Prices for cpu, z170 motherboard and ddr4 ram are almost precisely the same.
b. 6600K has an estimated 5-10% performance improvement per clock over haswell.
c. 14nm runs cooler, you get a decent overclock without the need for exotic cooling.
d. The Z170 chipset permits the use of much faster ssd devices on the horizon. Samsung 950 pro for example:

Can you give me an example of a build? I don't quite get what parts you mean, nor what specifics I should get,
So if it's good with you, can you give me an example build?

Thanks
