I'm thinking of building an FX6300 and GTX 950 build using either ChaletOS or plain Ubuntu. Because of the Micro Center motherboard deals, I can get the ASRock Extreme3 R2.0 and FX 6300 for only $105. I cannot find ANY Linux drivers on the ASRock website. Do they have good Linux drivers, if any? If not, should I go for the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 for $150, the MSI Gaming 970 for $130, or the ASRock 990FX Killer for $130? <--- these prices include the CPU

Solution
Motherboard manufacutrers don't typically provide official Linux driver support because there are so many different flavors of Linux it would be an almost impossible task. Most main Linux Distros like Arch, Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, Mint, etc. will all have support for the BASIC motherboard functionality for any of the boards you mentioned above.

You probably won't get some of the 'advance' bells and whistles, but in terms of basic driver support you shouldn't have a problem with the ASRock Extreme3 R2.0 with any big Linux distro.

To effectively search for Linux drivers for your board you would first have to know what specific flavor of Linux you wanted to use. From there the search would be failry straight forward.
