So. I'm thinking of getting a i5-6600 cpu.
But I'm in doubt as to what motherboard to get.
I'm looking at this atm: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/H170I-PLUS-D3/ so I don't have to switch to knew ram aswell.
But would it be worth it to get a motherboard, that supports ddr4 instead?

Requirement: It most be a mini-itx

Solution
@Tradesman1 is saying that with an H170 (non-overclocking) motherboard using DDR3 is fine. If you had chosen a Z170 motherboard and an unlocked CPU you might want DDR4 instead.

If getting a 6600 then it's a locked CPU and isn't really going to OC, so no need to get a Z170 for an upgrade to a K series CPU down the road or get a 6700. Since your CP doesn't OC, something like a H170 is a good choice, and with it not OCing, K model CPUs aren't really an option for that mobo. In short, the CPU and mobo combo are good - neither really towards upgrades, so the DRAM isn't going to matter iif DDR3 or DDR4
