Is it okay if I do 2 sata power to 8 pin with my 6pin and 8pin GPU?

I have a 6pin power cable for my GPU and I need an 8pin. Will it be okay if I buy a adapter for 2 data cables to one 8 pin. Or could you suggest a PSU that would power at r9 390. I have a 750w PSU right now.

It should be on the PSU's label.

From the info I could gather on the Alpine 750W PSU it has a +12V capacity of 38 Amps maximum. I have great doubts that it is 38 Amps continuous. More likely it is the useless peak rating.

Since the PSU only has one 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector it is an indication of just how weak of a power supply it really is.

Exactly as I said.

If you like a PSU that blows up then you've chosen one that will do exactly that.

Don't bother connecting an expensive graphics card to that PSU because the PSU won't survive.
