I'm looking to replace my killer wireless-n 1202 network card on my MSI GT70 20D laptop with a Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. I took apart the covers on my laptop and by the looks of it I have a half height chip. Now I never really done any do it yourself replacements before so this question may be a bit silly but I looked at the picture of the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 and it looks like a full height card? what are the standard dimensions of a half height chip vs a full height chip?
