looking to take advantage of some black Friday sales for a budget upgrade. Currently have 3x2GB sticks filling the blue ram slots. I know mixing and matching within the channel isn't recommended but can I fill the 3 white slots with something different?
what would happen if I only add 2 sticks instead of 3? I'm not seeing a lot of 3x kits available, all 2x or 4x is triple channel just not used anymore?
