Possibly. The equipment is meant for that kind of use. But powerline networking may or may not work well in any particular situation. It works best when the adapters are installed on the same electric circuit, which is likely not the case for you. It works OK when the wall jacks share a common hot bar in the breaker box, which may or may not be the case for you. It will be least effective on different legs.

All you can do is try it and see if it is satisfactory. Buy and set up right away. Make use of the manufacturer's after sale "tech" support. If it isn't satisfactory, return it. I always suggest buying the fastest rated adapters you can afford from a local seller with a good return policy.
