Are these two components compatible? I already have the mobo as part of a 2nd hand system given to me.

In short, yes. The board has a PCIe 3.0 slot for the GPU so the board + GPU are compatible.
It's a double-width card though, so it'll cover the next PCI slot.

You need a minimum of a 3rd gen chip to utilize PCIe 3.0 ........ a case that'll support it's near 10" length & 5" width, and a PSU at least 400W.

The current specs are:

Intel i5-3330 3.0
4GB RAM
160GB HDD (Main)
320GB HDD (Secondary)
PSU 600W
Palit GF210

I'm not quite sure if it has another PCI slot.
