i5 4690K Overclocking

Do you think it is safe to go for a 4,2 Ghz overclock on an air cooled system, i have a Cryorig h& cooler and at 4.1 Ghz it seems to max at 67 degrees during a stress test

For me, the key was to keep the voltage down to 1.12V
If I needed more volts, I would need a bigger cooler..

up to 75°C on a stress test is OK

I'm new to overclocking so i'm a little scared to mess with the voltage. Do you think i'll be able to achieve a 4.2 Ghz overclock without adjusting the voltage?

No harm in giving it a try.

If it works, then yes.... If it crashes then no!

If it crashes, just put speed back to 4.1, and everything is good again.

Overclocking is easy
Just watch out for high temperature!

Probably best if you read an online guide to overclocking haswell CPU

It is not difficult to do, but for best result you need to understand what you are doing
