So the problem started like 2 weeks ago in CS:GO. My PC just shutdown and immediately restarted. I made no changes to software or hardware. After that it happend several more times and only when I played COMPETITIVE matches. NEVER in deathmatch...now it crashed regularly in cs:go competitive matches and Fallout 4 and star citizen, so the crash happens after 5 minutes ingame and is reproducible..
my System
Intel Core i7 4790k
Asus z97-a
2x 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2133MHz
Asus Radeon r9 290X OC Edition
Fractal Newton R3 (1000W) Link:http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/power-supplies/newton/newton-r3-1000w
What i've done so far
installed NEW SSD with new OS, currently 8.1
installed older amd drivers 14.12
ran Memtest86 -> No Errors
ran Prime95 -> no Errors
ran FurMark -> no Crashes
installed MSI Afterburner and set "force constant voltage"
The only thing that helped to play a game longer than 5 minutes was when I set the Power Limit in ATI Catalyst Control Center to -20%
...i've no idea what else i can test. Any advice or help appreciated!
i am tired, sry for typos
