Hello everyone. I'm seriously confused right now. I'm looking for a new 500W Power Supply because my current one is 5 years old and came in a pre-built PC, and has started to make really weird noises.
The problem is, my HDD (Full Product Number: WDC WD15EADS-22P8B0) needs a 7 pin serial ATA connector, as seen on this website: CLICK HERE .. but whenever I look at Power Supply specs, it doesn't specify if the SATA connector is 7 pin or 5 pin or however many pins, it just lists the amount of SATA cables.
Do I need to find a certain type of PSU with a 7-pin SATA connector or will any PSU work on this HDD? Thank you so much in advance.
