I just recently purchased a ssd to go into my pc build. I had a hdd with windows and a lot of games and files on it. What is the best way to move windows to my ssd while leaving everything else on my hdd? Keep in mind that i want to keep both the hard drives in my pc.

Thanks. Any help/advice will be appreciated.

Best way is to do a clean install on the SSD without the HDD in the machine, and then redirecting your folders to the proper place on the HDD. You will need to reinstall the software/games, but if you have Steam or Origin games, they will "install" easily and without downloading additional files. For most software including those two game managers, you can dictate where the files are installed. I did the same thing a few years back and I was up and running in a few hours.

Depends on what stuff you're talking about.
Doc/Music/Video, yes.
Applications? No, Uninstall, then install on the other drive.
Steam games? Yes.
