NEED HELP, been trying to build my first pc for a couple months and I finally got it working but I'm having problems getting signal to my monitor. I've read the sticky on this issue and tried all steps but nothings working, my biggest fear is that my gpu is no good. My build is:

motherboard: asus m5a97 LE R2.0
Gpu: asus strix geforce gtx 960
Cpu: AMD FX8320
Ram: crucial ballistix sport 8gb (2- 4gb)
Psu: corsair cx750m

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appriciated. If it helps any the monitor I'm trying to use is fairly old, all I know is its a synaps.

Well i canceled the order on the asus and went with the gigabyte, is replacing my mobo a better way of fixing my monitor signal issue is it possible my mobo is a dud? All the lights on it turn on the gpu light comes on seems everything is getting power, might be something with the cpu socket?
