I am planning on building a new Pc and my choice is here:

Case : NZXT Phantom 530 (WHITE) ATX
CPU : Intel® Core™ i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)
COOLER : No Selection Yet.
Board : Asus Maximus viii Extreme Z170 , LGA1151
STORAGE : Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB. ( and planning to add one more just in case)
RAM : No Selection Yet.
GPU : GTX 980 (I dont know what brand if Nvidia or Evga)
PSU : No Selection Yet.

I want to know if this is good/bad and this build is for gaming and multi-purposes. any kind of help and suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

for that screen size and the activities you will be doing the build you put togeather overkill and you are spending more money than you need too, here is my suggestion.

CPU: I5-6600k
Cooler: 212 evo or Noctua D14...

a build suggestion totally depends on a couple of things.
1, what country do you live in?
2, what is your total budget for your build?
3, what are you going to be using this build for Gaming ,steaming , rendering videos ECT?
3a, if gaming what games?
4, what display size are you going to me playing on 1080,1440 ?
4a,also what Mhz 60 or 144?

CPU: I5-6600k
Cooler: 212 evo or Noctua D14
Motherboard: Z170 by either Asus, MSI or Gigabyte
RAM: DDR4 8b at 2400MHz +
Storage: Samsung Evo 850 250 + 1TB Western didgetial 7200RPM HDD
GPU: GTX 970 or R9 390 (These 2 cards are pretty much on par as far as performance go this is down to your preference)
PSU: anything from XFX such as XFX TS 650W or EVGA G2 650W both of these are top end PSU's and are designed for overclocking and gaming.
