Starcraft 2 running very slow on powerful MSI

I recently bought Starcraft 2 (WIngs of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm) and downloaded them onto my MSI GT72 Dominator 1668. I ran my specs through notebookcheck and this particular laptop should be able to run SC2 on high, absolutely no problem at all. The problem is that I'm getting 30 FPS max, but usually low 20's with graphics on high. When I put the graphics down to medium I'm only seeing a slight bump in FPS. Looking at the benchmark for the GPU in my machine I should be getting FPS in the 70's on Ultra. Here are the specs of my machine;

Windows 10 Home
Nvidia Geforce 970m 3gb
16gb RAM
Intel i7 5700HQ CPU @ 2.7GHz
1 TB HD

I've searched for an answer to this problem, but most of the threads and answers I've found are dealing with older, less powerful machines and the fixes offered did very little to improve the performance on my rig. Even adjusting individual graphics preferences and setting my power preferences to high performance had little to no effect on the FPS.

Am I missing something here? My computer SHOULD be way more than enough to run this game well, yet I'm having major performance issues. I am pretty new to nice computers in general, as this is my first personal computer (bought for my major, Graphic Design and Illustration). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

Solution
There was an issue a bit back (1-2 months ago) with the 64-bit version creating a similar problem.
I hope they have fixed that by now (although I haven't gotten around to putting my launcher back to 64 bit).

1) Run Battle.net App/Launcher
2) Click the SC2 Tab
3) In the SC2 Tab, click on Options, next to Redeem a Code/Launch Editor/Presale Available
4) In Options, click on Game Settings.
5) In Game Settings, click the check box next to the 32-bit client
6) Click done.
