I have been using a custom gaming laptop for the past 4 years. I play SW Battlefront and the 30 FPS is KIlling me with my Radeon 7970m. As I stated, this will be my first time building my own PC. Below is the link to what I have thus far. I plan on overclocking the CPU. I have not yet decided on whether I will be getting the 970 gtx or the 980 gtx. Depends on what deals I can find in the near future. Either way, They will likely be overclocked as well. I will also like to be running dual monitors at 1080P and certainly plan on playing games on High settings with locked 60fps for the next couple of years

I'd be very appreciative to all the pros out there if they could take a quick peek and see if everything looks good or If I left out anything (bottlenecks/issues/ case and mobo/suggestion are welcome!)

Thank you so much for your time!

Thank you for your input, I will be getting the 980 If i can find a deal on one otherwise the 970, but I was more concerned about all of the other hardware working together and as I desire. Any other insight would be appreciated.

Ideally I wanted to build a gaming rig with a small footprint (micro cube). And thus I chose a Micro case. Did i choose some incorrect hardware for the size case I am wanting? Also, why would it be better?

THANKS in advance.

It looks ok. I think the reason is because smaller footprints often comand higher prices. Though, micro-ATX isn't much more compared to a mini-ITX system. One thing to consider is if you're spending that much, it might be worthwhile to consider an LGA1151 system. The CPUs are pretty close, but the motherboards have more features on the Z170 chipset. Skylake is also more energy efficient and overclocks better. The downside is that it costs more. But if you're looking at 980, the percent increase is pretty modest.

Oh, and you only need one tube of grease. One tube of Arctic Silver should last you about 10 applications. Also, some new compounds are more popular now. I know Gelid is pretty well thought of.
