So right now I'm debating what mouse I should buy since it's Black Friday.
I'm sorry if I don't sound friendly in this post but it's just because I'm trying to get to the point here because my last post was virtually ignored and I would appreciate an answer before today is over :D Thanks for understanding!

So right now I'm playing games such as: League of Legends, CS: GO, Battlefield 4, and Rainbow Six: Siege. The majority out of these games that I play are League of Legends, and Rainbow Six: Siege though.

I'm debating between two mice right now:
- Logitech G502 Proteus Core
- Razer Deathadder Chroma

So let's pretend there is no difference in the price because at this moment I can pick up either of the two for $60 CAD and have one or the other shipped to my house in a few days but I can't have both.
Please help me in this decision, I have no idea which of the two I should get!
Thanks for any help someone can bring here :D

Thanks for your input! :D
I just started to wonder a lil' bit though why some streamers seem to use Razer Deathadder though since they really just buy the best of the best.
Maybe I'm crazy though.
I'll see what a few more people think if they start to come to this forum (Which hopefully the do) before I make my final choice.

It's marketing. Razer spend lots of money to have their logo shown at esports events and what not so their brand gets burnt into the minds of everyone. Alot of streamers are probably either sponsored by Razer or they give them free stuff to use on cam as away of advertising to the streamers audience. Razer aren't that special they just do good marketing and the customer is left with paying a brand premium. Go by customer reviews not what streamers or esport teams are going by. If an esport team is sponsored by a peripheral maker (that includes logitech) then they're probably only going to be allowed to be seen using that companies peripherals.

Makes more sense than my theory.
I also heard that the G502 probably has one of the best sensors on the market or whatever.
Also while I have a guy here that knows what he's doing can you solve a quick problem for me?

My current cheapy mouse claims to use an optical sensor which means that it shouldn't pick up movement unless it's directly touching the mousepad or whatever.
Now the problem is that my mouse will pick up movement if it's about 2cm or so off my black mouse pad but won't pick up any movement unless it's directly touching my wooden desk.
Will the G502 do this as well due to the dark color of the mousepad or is it just that the sensor on my mouse isn't that great?
I use the CM Storm Devastator Bundle btw

modern high quality sensors tend to work well on all surfaces. I can't say how this mouse will perform for sure. look up some reviews. Here's one from LinusTechTips and here's him covering Razer
