My R9 270x Won't Do Native 1366x768 On Samsung HDTV w/Windows 10 - (Did w/Windows 7)

I can't get my R9 270x to use my Samsung HDTV's native 1366x768 resolution with Windows 10. TV is always in 1080p mode and Windows 10 is scaling the lower desktop resolution, which looks like crap because it's not a 1:1 pixel map. Works fine with Windows 7 - TV switches it's native mode when switching between 1920x1080 and 1366x768, but not with Windows 10.

Regardless of desktop resolution, TV stays in its native 1080p mode instead of switching to its native 1366x768 @60Hz which it does with Windows 7. Never even had to do anything special with Windows 7 either - it always just worked.

Using AMD CCC 15.7.1 drivers on both Win7 & Win10.
- Verified all 'Desktop Settings' in AMD CCC are identical for Win7 & Win10
- Tried changing resolution in Win10 'Metro Settings', conventional 'Screen Resolution' in control panel and through AMD CCC 'Desktop Management'.
- Tried new AMD Crimson drivers on Win 10, no joy.

At my wits end here. If I can't get this to work on Windows 10 like it did with Windows 7 I'm going back.

HTPC Specs
Asus P8B75M MB
I5-3570
8GB GSKill
Sapphire R9 270x 2GB
Samsung HDTV UN40EH5300 (only display connected via HDMI)

P.S. Took an older desktop I have with a GTX 650, upgraded it to Windows 10, and connected it to the same TV via HDMI. That works just fine, TV switches input mode like it's suppose to. Starting to look like an issue with AMD drivers and Windows 10...

Any thoughts?

I think you missed the point. The HDTV is my primary, and only, display - it's on a HTPC.

Just trying to understand/fix the 1366x768 native support that was present with Win7 but is now gone with Win10.
