So, Im trying to hook up a TV as a second monitor, its relatively old about 6 years. It only has a vga port, and this wouldnt be a problem, but my computer has no vga port, only DVI and HDMI. What I tried to do was hook the vga cable from my TV into my first monitors vga port, but this doesn't work. Any ideas besides buying a vga to dvi adapter?
