I had an gt 730 and i got now an GTX 560.
I deleted the drivers of the old card and installed the new one.
Now i cant get sound from the onboard audio of my motherboard.
In bios it shows: Disconnected and at my playback devices it shows: Speakers "not plugged in", only think connected is Realtek Digital Output (guess thats the hdmi part, my monitor doesnt have sound)

I tried lots of things recommended on the forum of people with same problems. But non of them work. Setting in bios the onboard sound from auto to enabled (didnt work). Reinstall drivers (didnt work). etc etc

My specs:
Asrock 970 Pro3 r2.0 motherboard
AMD FX-4300 Quad-core Processor
GTX 560 Ti
Windows 10 pro

Did you check that the speakers plug was firmly in the GREEN jack? While moving cables around you may have dislodged it and/or moved it accidentally to the wrong color jack. Did it come lose at the speaker end?

If all the above is good, try uninstalling the gfx driver package and see if you get your speakers back. If you do, then when you go to install the gfx driver again, uncheck the box for the HDMI sound drivers.
